I didn't sign up for this, I hate strikes. Crossing picket lines is profoundly uncomfortable.

To all Lakehead University Education students who are doing volunteer
work , internship hours 3239 YA , or practicuum work (Ed 3499, Ed 4499)

Please read the advisory sent to professional teachers in the Lakehead
Public School system re: the Educational Assistant Strike which is
scheduled to begin Monday, January 16th.

Here are your guidelines:
You are to cross picket lines to complete scheduled course work.

Honour the information picket. Be courteous in listening to or
accepting any print materials that striking members are distributing.

If you are doing volunteer work not related to a course this is a
personal decision you must make.

Please heed the cautions to staff about not doing any work that would
normally be done by an Educational assistant. If you are not sure ask
the teacher you are working with & or the principal of the school.
