Canada's trying not to piss Bush off:

TORONTO (March 25) - A U.S. Army paratrooper who refused to fight in Iraq has found no refuge north of the border.

Jeremy Hinzman was denied political asylum in Canada on Thursday, a ruling that dealt a blow to other deserters here who argue such duty would force them to commit atrocities against civilians.

Stupid Politicians. This is a good thing! Means that there are Americans out there with a conscience, as far as I'm concerned, we should have let him in. Too bad we are too busy appeasing Bush to pay attention to whats right.
