Warped Isolation

This is me, blathering on about my life in general. Sometimes I wax poetic, sometimes I wax wacky and sometimes I wax thought-provoking. Whatever it is you hope to find here, I hope you find it. I welcome any and all comments, so feel free.

Because MooCow and Lost_Piousness told me to:

1. Total amount of music files on your computer:

Roughly 1494 mp3's

2. The last CD you bought was:

Tonic's Lemon Parade. Which is kind of sad because I had a burned copy of it before, and felt bad because I listened to it so much that I had to go out and get a real copy. So it wasn't even that exciting. But it soothed my guilt.

3. What is the song you last listened to before reading this message?

Matchbox 20, 3AM

4. Write down 5 songs you often listen to or that mean a lot to you:

1. Suzanne, Leonard Cohen. It's about a crazy girl, and I like to consider myself a crazy girl most of the time. Which is a good thing, because I would still be crazy, even if I didn't enjoy it. Also, first song, really the only song, of Leonard's to be quoted at me by a guy I really admired. Thanks A.

2. From Me to You, Janis Ian. About feeling lost and trapped, disillusionment, falling in with a bad crowd. But just as often there is someone waiting to sing you a song before you go down in flames.

" They say you are foolish in wanting the sun,
say you are selfish in learning to run,
Tell you that the darkness
is a blessing in disguise
for you'll never have to notice
if you're sighted or you're blind
and they'll do their best to keep you from the light."

3. Fire and Rain, James Taylor. Even if SMRT thinks that he sold out by singing it on the Simpsons.

4. My Stupid Mouth, John Mayer. Everyone says stupid things sometimes, and feels like a moron, and I feel like that more often than most.

5. 4Am, Our Lady Peace.

Honorable mention goes to:

Between the Bars, Elliot Smith.
Me and the Moon, Something Corporate.
Freshman, Verve Pipe.

THIS WAS SOOOOO HARD!

Depends how much fun I'd have jumping off the bridge. I like cliff-jumping into Lake Superior, so it sounds like something I might be into. :P
